This branch of the Miller family is thought to have originated in Scotland and emigrated to the South Western part of New Brunswick, Canada in the 1770's or 1780's. From there some of them migrated to Southern Aroostook County, Maine, by 1880, where many still live today. Others later moved to Connecticut in the mid-20th century.
